I had no idea that there would be so much hand sewing. It took nearly 10 hours to complete this hat, but I get so many compliments when I wear it. This wool felt topper was my first attempt at the hat. Some alterations I made were to add wire on the inside brim, so I could tilt the hat a but. I also sewed the ribbon a bit wider out, so it could anchor to my head better.

The wool was a bit think, and I couldnt sew the 4 rings of stitching the pattern called for, but I think Ill live |
