A friend wanted me to make a vintage piece for his wife. They are expecting their first child. I helped him buy the pattern, and picked out the fabric.

He gave me some color suggestions, but I went a bit outside of his recommendations of brown, green and black. The dress is a cotton calico, and the accompanying jacket is a lovely linen.
