This is my first attempt at my new 40s pattern. With summer coming, I needed some basic shirts to wear for cover up, but not too hot like a jacket would be. I still have a bit of adjusting to do on the pattern, but I do like the way this one turned out. I plan on making a few of these (all solid colors) with different pocket treatments and sleeves. |

I normaly do not like brass buttons on anything, but I thought they went well with this blue linen. This shirt has no front buttons, but I do plan on making more with front buttons. I also added the double dart detail at the shoulders. I do need to work on shoulder fitting more but all in all its a nice outcome. |
