Now that the basic parts of the jacket are constructed, Im going to do a turquoise colored stitch along the pockets and lapel for some added color. |

I didnt use a button for the lapel (to hold it up when I didnt want it folded over) because the corduroy is stiff enough to keep it up.

The fit of the shoulders is a lot better than my denim jacket. I also raised the back collar on this cut out of the pattern. |
