These jimjams are based off my apparently favorite pattern. I made these from a cotton panel that I purchased at Urban Outfitters some years ago. I had been avoiding using it for anything because I ripped a series of small holes in the fabric. I had to do a lot of mending along the way in order to complete these.

The bottoms, not pictured, are of the same fabric, drawstring, and cuffed about 1 3/4". The top, I had to use muslin for the sleeves and the yolk. I do like the look, and am glad for the brake up of the red leaf pattern. I echoed the pockets with the point of the back yolk. The sleeves are long, but slightly gathered at the cuff. |
