My goal when I dress vintage is not to mimic a type of 'look' of the era, but to make clothes that would fit well in that era, weather or not, by today's eyes they are seen of that time.

I tend to gravitate to print shirts and dresses, and more solids for skirts. A lot of plaid is threaded throughout my wardrobe. I love buttons, pleats, tucks, darts, the small details. Because I dont wear a lot of bracelets and jewlery, I like to finish off a look with scarves and brooches.

For the fashion show, Ive tried to limit most of the items to things I have made. Aside from the shoes and a pair of gloves, Ive made all of the clothes.
