I bought this pattern mainly because of its bust size. Its a simple staple dress and very classically 40s. I experimented with this one a bit and cut the skirt on the bias. I like the look, but next time Ill make sure all the stripes match (that the plaids are perfect squares).

The collar took me a bit to figure out, but once I did (with out stitching in the ditch) it turned out pretty well.

I do like the sleeves, and the drape of the fabric is real nice. The bias cut skirt flows so nicely too. I also added pockets on the side seams, and, of course, its finished off with vintage buttons.
