This dress was an exploration in ric rac. I love the stuff now. I was always afraid to use it, but now I want to use it on everything!I cut the skirt flair a bit fuller on this one, and I also added pockets. I find day dresses without pockets are near useless.

	The fabric is linen, and the striped accents are cotton from mid 1940s fabric. I made a blouse from the same fabric.
	back gathers
